This Digital Wireless Quad Camera System from Rear View Safety Inc is a video supplement to the rear view mirror of your RV, truck, or other vehicle. It includes a daytime/nighttime camera and a 7" monitor, and the two pair wirelessly over a digital frequency. Up to four cameras in total can be incorporated into the system and displayed simultaneously on the monitor in quad view.
The monitor attaches using an included suction cup mount and connects into the car lighter port for power. It displays images in 800 x 480 resolution and has built-in speakers that allow you to hear whatever sound the camera picks up with its built-in mic. It includes a removable sunshade for better visibility in the day, and its on-dash navigation buttons illuminate in the dark for easier control at night. The screen also automatically dims in low light to preserve your eyesight.
The camera has a heavy-duty zinc metal housing with an IP68 weatherproof rating for exterior installation. It features a 2.1mm lens and 18 IR LEDs around the lens that allow up to 50 ft of night-vision even in pitch darkness. These LEDs automatically adjust in intensity based on the level of darkness outside. Specialized foam attached around the lens ensures that the LEDs will not cause any glare. Connection cables are included and can be plugged into any 12V power source, typically running lights.
