Featuring dual-redundant controllers, the Rocstor Enteroc F1630 16-Bay 16Gb Fibre SAN Storage System Enclosure offers 16Gb FC-AL host performance to increase system efficiency as well as providing continuous availability of data to your network. It's built with 16 hot-swappable 6 Gb/s SAS/SATA drive bays that can hold optional SAS and SATA hard drives. You can build a cost-friendly SAN storage system by installing SATA hard drives or provide quick and reliable data to your network with SAS enterprise-class drives. Further storage expansion is made possible by connecting an optional SAS expansion chassis to one of the two 6 Gb/s SAS ports. Additionally, it supports JBOD as well as RAID levels 0, 1, 10 (1E), 3, 5, 6, 30, 50, and 60 for providing your network with data performance, redundancy, or both.
This storage system is powered with an 800 MHz dual-core RAID-On-Chip processor and 4GB of RAM, which can be upgraded to 16GB. It is equipped with two 500W power supplies and four fans that cool the system. Moreover, this 3U rackmount storage system has an integrated menu-driven front display panel and includes firmware-based software to configure the RAID as well as monitoring system events.
