The compact Rocstor Enteroc PM1300 8-Bay Mobile PCIe 3.0 Storage System Enclosure features eight bays that can hold optional storage drives to provide fast access to your 2K and 4K videos. Its eight bays support hot swapping and can each hold a 2.5" SAS/SATA drive. When drives are installed, they can be RAID configured to offer you data performance, redundancy, or both. In addition, this enclosure delivers a data bandwidth of 32 Gb/s to your workstation using the included 6.6' (2m) copper cable and Z2M-G3 dual-port HBA PCIe card, which occupies an available PCIe 3.0 x8 slot inside your computer.
The Rocstor Enteroc PM1300 enclosure is powered with a LSISAS2208 processor and 1GB of DDR3 ECC RAM. Furthermore, it is based on PCIe 3.0 technology and can be utilized as a SAN with an optional PCIe switch.
