The 36" Umbrella Softbox from Savage takes the "shoot through" umbrella idea and runs with it. Like a shoot through set up you point the convex side of the umbrella toward your subject and pump your light through it. Savage has got that covered with the addition of a shower cap-type light blocker that defeats spill and directs the light forward. Additionally, the Umbrella Softbox sets up and breaks down in seconds.
