This Sea & Sea MDX-D7100 Underwater Housing and Camera Body Kit from B&H Photo bundles the Sea & Sea MDX-D7100 waterproof case with the Nikon D7100 DSLR camera body it houses, enabling you to capture photos and video at a maximum depth of 330'. The housing provides access to all essential camera functions via mechanical controls; bracketing, preview and function buttons are inaccessible.

It is constructed from precision-machined anodized aluminum. It requires one of several interchangeable lens ports (sold separately). Both TTL and manual flash exposure control are possible with the Optical YS Converter N (#50126), a fiber-optic cable and an external strobe (all sold separately). The housing is configured with dual fiber-optic cable ports for strobe attachment, and strobes can be triggered as slave units. The MDX-D7100 features a 0.5x optical viewfinder and is compatible with the optional VF180 1.2x and VF45 1.2x prism viewfinders. A built-in leak sensor immediately alerts you to a breach in the waterproof seal.

Nikon's D7100 DSLR camera body is a compact model featuring a 24.1MP DX-format CMOS sensor and EXPEED 3 image processor for high-resolution photos, Full HD 1080p video capture, continuous 24MP shots at 6 fps, and outstanding low-light sensitivity to ISO 25600. The lack of an optical low-pass filter maximizes resolution for exceptionally sharp details. Benefit from a 51-point autofocus area with 15 cross-type sensors for detecting both vertical and horizontal variations to achieve fast, precise focus. Additionally, the camera offers a 3.2", 1229k-dot LCD monitor and an optical viewfinder.
