This DC1400 Reef Edition Underwater Digital Camera Kit from SeaLife bundles the DC1400 camera with the Fisheye Wide Angle Lens and the convenient Compact Pro Case (11.5 x 10 x 4.5" / 29.2 x 25.4 x 11.4 cm). This set provides you with the means to get close to your subject and fit more in-frame, and also allows you to protect and transport your underwater photography system.
The DC1400 camera is packaged inside a molded rubber and polycarbonate waterproof housing, from which it can be removed for use on-land. Rubber-armored and shock-resistant for rough handling and tough environments, it has a depth rating of 200'. The camera features a 14MP CCD image sensor for capturing sharp photos and HD 720p video at 30fps. Its lens has a focal length range of 4.7-23.5mm (35mm equivalent 26-130mm), covering wide-angle to telephoto perspectives. Additionally, the camera is equipped with a 3" TFT LCD monitor. Six underwater color settings give you sharp, colorful photos and HD video beneath the surface, and 4 built-in digital color correction filters help restore colors that get lost underwater.
The supplied Fisheye Wide-Angle Lens is a dome-shaped, super wide-angle underwater conversion lens that increases your field of view by 80%. It has a distortion effect that can enlarge subjects close to it and stretch the scene out to the edges of the lens. It also has a depth rating of 200'. The lens has a 16mm effective focal length when used on the DC1400, and is constructed from multi-coated precision optics for maximum light transmission. The fisheye can easily be attached and removed underwater, and works well above-the-surface, too.
