User manual for the Shinybow 8x8 Component Video HDTV Matrix Routing SB-5588LCM

The user manual for the Shinybow 8x8 Component Video HDTV Matrix Routing SB-5588LCM provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Signal Processing & Distribution - Routers & Switchers.

The 8x8 Component Video HDTV Matrix Routing Switcher with Analog and Digital Audio features eight individual component video inputs and eight individual component video outputs, each with analog stereo and SPDIF digital audio connectors. Because it is a matrix router, any input may be routed to any output, or the same input may be routed to all outputs, or any combination thereof. This prevents the need to constantly move around A/V input and output cables. This is useful for matrix signals from A/V source devices, such as personal computers, set top boxes, and satellite receivers, to destination devices such as monitors, HDTVs, and projectors.

Control is provided via front push-buttons with LED readout or the included IR remote controller. A RS232 interface is also provided for interfacing with third party control options. A Windows-based control software package is included to provide complete control of the switcher from a PC. Also included is an IR extender receiver, RS-232 cable, CD-ROM with RS-232 driver, 12 VDC power supply, and rack mount brackets.
