If you want to set up a shelter for long-term use, such as in a basecamp, the Snugpak Bunker 3-Person Tent in olive is a solid choice. This tent was built with extended stays in rough weather in mind, featuring many guy points to stave off the wind. Two adjustable vents help control moisture within the tent, letting you control the diameter of the opening to regulate air flow. The tents solid canopy adds warmth by retaining body heat. Three mesh pockets on each side help keep gear off the ground to help maximize floor space.
The floor and fly have a 5000mm waterproof polyurethane coating and fully taped seams to keep water out of the tent, where it belongs. The floor is a bathtub design which adds to the weatherproof nature and repels water that would roll over flat floors. DAC Featherlite poles are included and feature durable aluminum alloy construction. 19 aluminum alloy stakes are included to keep the tent pinned to the ground in high winds. This tent weighs 6.7 pounds and packs into an included stuff sack.
