The Qio E3 High-Speed SxS Card Reader with Thunderbolt Interface Adapter from Sonnet is configured with three ExpressCard/34 slots offering native support for Sony SxS, SxS Pro, SxS-1, and other memory cards with PCIe ExpressCard/34 interfaces. It also features a fast PCIe 2.0 interface and is capable of maximum aggregate read speeds of 300MB/s. Additionally, the card reader has two 6Gb/s eSATA ports and comes with a Thunderbolt interface adapter and cable for connection and fast data transfer to a computer.
Included is a universal AC power supply with wall plugs for use in the US, Japan, Europe, UK and Australia. Alternatively, an optional XLR 4-pin adapter cable can route battery power to the Qio E3. The card reader is constructed from aluminum and has a slot for Kensington and similar anti-theft locks. The Qio is compatible with both Mac and Windows computers, and is hot-pluggable when used in a MacBook Pro. It also has Flash-ROM that is upgradeable to the latest firmware version.
