The black 5.25” USM Removable Storage Bay with 2.5” SATA USM/USB 3.0 Hard Drive Enclosure from StarTech turns a 5.25" front computer bay into a hot-swappable USM (Universal Storage Module) interface. You can connect a 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD to this USM interface using the included USM enclosure. USM is a portable drive standard that interfaces with SATA and enables you to hot swap drives between multiple host devices, such as PCs, notebooks, DVRs, and many others. Both the bay and enclosure are compatible with Seagate GoFlex and other USM interface devices, and support SATA III transfer speeds up to 6 Gb/s.
