The black with silver trim USB 3.0 Dual Hard Drive Dock with Fast Charge USB Hub from StarTech enables two SATA 2.5"/3.5" Hard Disk Drives (HDD) or Solid State Drives (SSD) to be connected simultaneously to a computer through USB, while controlling the power status (on/off) of each individual drive independently from each other. The enclosure supports UASP and delivers optimal performance with a USB 3.0 connection, and is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 host connections. It features a built-in 2-port USB 3.0 hub that enables you to connect additional USB 3.0 devices to your computer, through the same USB connection. One of the ports on the hub also has Fast Charging capabilities that charge iPads and other mobile devices, as effectively as through a wall plug.
