Capture clear, detailed, 900 TVL resolution video day and night with the PRO-981 Ultimate Optical Zoom Dome Camera from Swann. This camera has a 2.8 to 12mm varifocal lens and 81° viewing angle to capture a wide area even in challenging lighting conditions. Furthermore, the built-in Wide Dynamic Range technology helps to reduce distortion and blur at the periphery of images.
This camera captures color video during the day, and black and white video at night. As light levels diminish, the built-in LEDs become illuminated. The light cast by these LEDs helps the camera capture clear and low-noise images within a range of 98' in darkness.
Depending on the DVR that you connect, you'll be able to program the camera to record continuously, at scheduled times, or when motion is detected. You can also use your DVR to define motion sensitivity settings and event triggers. Based on how you configure your DVR, when motion is detected, it can send an email alert to you. If you're not interested in recording video, you can opt to connect the included BNC cable and RGA adapter to a TV or monitor for live-viewing and playback.
With an IP66 rated housing, this camera is protected from harsh environmental elements like rain and snow, making it suitable for outdoor and indoor applications. To facilitate setup and installation, the camera also comes with a cable management bracket, power adapter, and mounting hardware.
