This is accomplished by exposing the front of the filter to ultraviolet light for four hours or sunlight for eight hours under dry conditions. Aside from moisture, scratches and other elements are prevented from reaching or damaging a lens while the Tokina 95mm Hydrophilic Coating Protector Filter is in use.
This filter is constructed from hardened optical glass for durability, clarity, and color fidelity. A thin filter ring is also featured to minimize the potential for vignetting.
