The UniFi Micro, from maker of wireless network products, Ubiquiti, is a miniature-sized indoor surveillance camera offering very convenient mounting capability, as well as Wi-Fi streaming to the UniFi mobile app (iOS/Android), UniFi software (Windows/Linux), and optional UniFi NVR. Featuring a magnetic rear base, it can be attached to any metal surface in the home or office by simply being touched to the surface; and just as easily, it can be moved from place to place as you see fit. Don't want to mount it magnetically? Use the included screw mount, adhesive mount, or corner mount as alternatives. Taking advantage of the small size of the camera -- about the size of a golf ball -- the corner mount lets you attach the camera literally in the corner of a wall or other area, great for birds-eye-view type capture. Any way you mount it, it's adjustable in any direction to point exactly where you need it to. Capture 720p HD resolution video with audio in normal lighting, and black-and-white images when the lights are off (thanks to night-vision LEDs).
How is the camera powered? Here's another outstanding feature: it comes with a small AC power adapter (U.S. 2-prong) featuring 16 ft of thin cabling hidden inside it. Pull out as much of the 16 ft as you need and connect it to the rear of the camera, near the magnetic mount. The cabling can be secured or tucked away neatly along the wall, floor, or ceiling, or left dangling.
The UniFi app and software are available for free download. The software allows you to configure the camera in a variety of ways, including selecting a region of interest and angle of view, and setting alerts. Both the app and software let you monitor and record whatever the camera captures.
