The Alta CA 203AP Aluminum Tripod with Pan/Tilt Head from Vanguard is a 3-section camera support with a pan/tilt head for photo or video use. It weighs 3.2 lb, and has a load capacity of 11 lb. When fully extended it reaches 61", and can fold down to 24.2" for transport. Its legs adjust to 20°, 40°, 60° and 80° angles for uneven terrain or low angle-shooting.
The included pan/tilt head has a quick-release plate, and separate pan and tilt locks. There are two panning surfaces, one on the bottom of the head, and another just below the camera. This allows you use the bubble level to adjust the camera to the horizon, and then pan the camera along the horizon line. An ergonomic pan handle controls the front-to-back tilt, while a large locking knob controls the bottom panning, and a smaller knob controls the top panning motion.
