The user manual for the Varavon Slidecam ARC (Black) SL-ARC provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Tripods, Supports & Rigs - Camera Sliders.
Move beyond straight-track sliders and add dynamic, curved movement to your shots with the black Slidecam ARC from Varavon. The slider supports loads up to 44 pounds and features a 31° track angle that results in an arc radius of 70.9". It has an overall length of approximately 39". For enhanced creative options, you can position your camera facing the inside or outside angle of the track to achieve . With your camera facing the inside angle and your subject centered at approximately 70.9" away, you can add subtle curved motion while keeping your subject stationary and in focus within the frame. Facing your camera towards the outside angle of the track can be useful for capturing compelling master shots of your set or environment, even in tighter shooting locations.
The slider carriage slides smoothly and quietly along the track's 8" diameter rails and features a 3/8"-16 thread screw for attaching a fluid head or ball head. For tripod mounting, there are threaded holes at the center of the track as well as threaded holes on the underside of each end block. Additionally, there are threaded holes on the top of the end blocks for attaching accessories, such as an LED light on an articulating arm. For table-top or ground-level shooting, the slider features adjustable legs and feet.
