The user manual for the VariZoom Solo Jib Kit with Tripod and Slider Dolly SOLOJIBCF-KIT provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Tripods, Supports & Rigs - Cranes & Jibs.
The carbon fiber Solo Jib Kit with Tripod and Slider Dolly from VariZoom is a complete dolly and jib system for adding fluid pan, tilt, tracking, and jib shots to your videos. The kit features the carbon fiber Solo Jib, Solo Slider Dolly, and VZ-TK75A Aluminum Tripod System. The entire dolly/tripod/jib system can be setup by one person without any extra tools, and breaks down to fit into three cases for easy transport.
The Solo Jib is a portable, lightweight carbon fiber jib with a 2-stage telescoping arm that provides up to 9.2' of height with the VZ-TK75A tripod. It features soft-stop pan and tilt brakes for fixing the position of the jib without it tipping over, as well as a telescoping tail for counterweight adjustment. It includes a mounting stud and hand knob for 65mm and 75mm bowl tripods, a 5.5 pound counterweight, a bar fitting and nut/spacers for mounting the counterweight, and a carrying bag.
The Solo Jib is supported using the VZ-TK75A tripod system, which features a 65/75mm compatible bowl. For use without the jib, the tripod includes a fluid video head with quick-release plate, which supports loads up to 10 pounds. Additional features include a mid-level spreader, telescoping pan handle, and switchable rubber/spiked feet. A padded carrying case is included.
The dolly track consists of five segments for 16' of total track yielding a travel distance of 13.5'. For use on a variety of surfaces, a set of foam-padded pieces are included to go underneath the track. The VZ-TK75A tripod runs on the dolly track using the adjustable dolly, which features specially designed wheels for smooth and silent operation. The dolly and track can be set up quickly and breaks down to fit into a custom carrying case for a total weight of only 26 pounds.
