The Aptaris Blackmagic Cinema Camera Action Set from walimex Pro provides all of the components needed to get your Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K or Production Camera 4K ready for professional video applications. The Action-Set includes the Aptaris Blackmagic Cinema Camera Cage, Handle Grip Module, and Standard Lightweight Shoulder Module. The versatile rig can be configured for handheld, tripod, or shoulder-mounted shooting and accepts a wide range of optional accessories.
The formfitting Aptaris camera cage is designed specifically for the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K or Production Camera 4K. It protects the camera while providing multiple 1/4"-20 threaded attachment points for included accessories such as the cold shoe mount and handle, as well as wide range of optional accessories. The cage is made from anodized aircraft grade aluminum.
Rod modules on the top and bottom of the cage allow for standard 15mm rods to be added for direct attachment of accessories such as a matte box and follow focus. The bottom rod module has a 3/8" threaded hole for use with a tripod. The cage comes included with two pairs of 15mm rods in 9.8" and 7.9" lengths. The included two-part handle consists of a grip and riser, and attaches to the cage via a mini rail, which can be positioned at any of the 1/4" accessory holes. The handle riser slides onto the mini rail, using a lever to secure it in place. The cold shoe mount can also be positioned at any of the 1/4"-20 accessory holes.
For shoulder-mounted shooting, the Grip Module and Shoulder Module are provided, which mount onto the included 15mm rods. The Grip Module provides left and right handles with a locking rosette feature, while the Shoulder Module extends the cage forward and in toward your body for easier viewing of the camera's LCD screen while shooting. It features four soft shoulder pads for comfortable shooting, an offset support angle bracket, and two 15mm rods 11.8" in length support. The module is suitable for both left and right shoulders.
