The Xplorer Standard Model Quadcopter from Xiro is a GPS-enabled drone that's intended to be flown outside. It features a Wi-Fi range of 1640' and max speed of nearly 50 feet-per-second, enabling you to fly fast and far. The Xplorer features a modular design that allows you to pilot the device as-is out of the box or to upgrade it into a video-capturing aircraft. The modular components that come with this model include the props and rotary motors, flight battery, and flight control module – everything you need to start flying right away, all of which is easily replaceable thanks to the Xplorer's innovative modular system. A gimbal, camera, and other modular components are separately available, enabling you to upgrade the Xplorer to fit your piloting needs.
The Xplorer is a "ready-to-fly" aircraft, meaning aside from the aforementioned modular components, a pre-bound handheld transmitter (radio controller) is included. Depending on your application, you may require additional components, such as additional flight batteries and a mobile device to access the app. Also, note that a number of important compass and GPS calibration steps might be required before flying to ensure the flight control computer operates correctly.
