The Zacuto Cine EVF Recoil is compatible with the RED One, Epic, Scarlet, Blackmagic Cinema Camera, AJA Cion, and ARRI ALEXA. It includes the VCT Universal baseplate, Zgrip Z-Mount Zwivel, and Recoil Handle. This recoil rig is designed to provide optimal balance whether shoulder mounted or on a tripod. When lenses and cameras are similar in weight, the balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. In this recoil rig, the balance point needs to be directly over your shoulder. This requires focus, monitoring, and camera controls to be relocated forward, creating a lighter and shorter rig.
The VCT Universal Baseplate has a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector, 6.5" (16.5 cm) iris rods, and rows of 1/4"-20 threads along the sides for accessories. The recessed rod mount offers maximum accessory space under your camera lens.
The Zgrip Z-Mount Zwivel is a fully articulating handgrip that attaches to a single 15mm rod with a Zwivel mount that can be set at multiple different angles for comfort and ease of use.
The Recoil Handle is a solid top grip that attaches directly to your camera with an included 5" Z-Rail. The Recoil Handle can accept two cold-shoe accessories and has a quick release 15mm rod port.
