The user manual for the Zacuto Sony F5/F55 Top Plate Z-SF5TPH provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Tripods, Supports & Rigs - Supports & Rig Components - Handles & Grips.
The Zacuto Sony F5/F55 Top Plate attaches to the top of your F5 or F55 camera and allows numerous mounting options. It includes a 5" Z-Rail, Recoil Handle, 15mm Z-Lock, and a 4.5" (11.4 cm) 15mm rod. It attaches to the camera with four 1/4"-20 hex screws spaced 3" (7.6 cm) apart lengthwise and 2.5" (6.4 cm) apart crosswise. It offers rows of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw holes across the top for accessories. At the back of the plate are two quick-release 15mm rod ports with a small lip inside to stop arms or rods from falling through and damaging your camera.
The Recoil Handle top grip attaches to the included 5" Z-Rail with a quick-release ratcheting lever. This solid handle can accept two cold-shoe accessories and threaded accessories and also has a quick-release 15mm rod port. The included 4.5" rod is held in place by the 15mm Z-Lock at the front of the plate.
A film plane marker screw and lens mount locking screw are also included for attaching on the left and front of the plate to serve as stoppers and secure your camera lens mount.
