necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Optics - Outdoor Gear - Knives.
The straight edge, drop point design of the Zero Tolerance 0301 Folding Knife make it well suited to a multitude of tasks. S30V steel was chosen for the blade because of its combination of durability, wear- and corrosion resistance. A Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) coating is applied to the blade to give it a unique tiger-stripe finish in addition to an extra layer of corrosion resistance. This coating also reduces friction drag.
The 0301 has the SpeedSafe assisted opening system with dual side thumbstuds and an ambidextrous protrusion on the blade's heel to enable the folding blade to quickly and easily move out of the handle. When opened, a frame lock moves into position behind the blade to lock it in place for safe use. To close, push the locking bar to the side and fold the blade into the handle.
For comfort and sure-handling, the handle is constructed out of G-10 and titanium that has been given an easy-to-grip texture. The G-10 front handle scale is Ranger green in color which provides contrast with the tiger-stripe finish of the blade. Its four-way pocket clip can be reversed for left or right-hand carry, and flipped for tip-up or tip-down orientation. Zero Tolerance knives are manufactured in the USA.
