The CB5-311-T1UU 13.3" FHD Chromebook Computer from Acer is designed for a Web-optimized experience. With its user-friendly interface, the Acer Chromebook offers a unique computing experience enhanced by the Internet.
This Acer Chromebook has a 13.3" Active Matrix TFT Color LED-backlit display that employs ComfyView technology. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution, which is powered by integrated NVIDIA graphics. Its resolution can support native 1080p HD video playback without upscaling or letterboxing. Additionally, the system's graphics may be output to an external display using the integrated HDMI port.
The system is powered by a 2.10 GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 CD570M-A1 Quad-Core processor. It also has 4GB of DDR3L RAM, 32GB of flash storage, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, an integrated front-facing webcam, and an integrated digital microphone. There are also built-in speakers and a multi-format media card reader for Secure Digital (SD) cards. Additional compatible peripherals, such as extra storage, optical drives, mice, and more may be connected using the two USB 3.0 ports.
Google Chrome OS is a Linux-based operating system designed by Google to work exclusively with web applications. The Acer CB5-311-T1UU combines the aspects of a pure cloud client with the hardware of a traditional portable computer, which puts it in its very own class of netbook and notebook computers. Included with this Chromebook is a 45W AC adapter and a power cord. Its built-in 4-cell 3220mAh Lithium-ion battery will last for up to 11.5 hours before recharging is required.
Please note that in order to take full advantage of Chrome OS, you will need to be connected to the Internet.
