The user manual for the Aiphone NE-SS/A Vandal- & Weather-Resistant Audio NE-SS/A provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Intercoms - Door Stations.

The Aiphone NE-SS/A Vandal- & Weather-Resistant Audio Door Substation is designed for use with the NEM Lamp Memory Intercom System, NDR Lamp Memory Security Intercom System, and NDRM Rack-Mount Security Intercom System. The 12-gauge stainless steel substation is equipped with an option for an external output contact closure when the substation places a call (relay required, available separately). It either flush mounts into a 2-gang box with a minimum depth of 2.5", or surface mounts with the SBX-2G Mount Box (available separately). The unit includes tamperproof screws and a tool for installation. This substation also features a stainless steel, mechanical call button.

Recommended to use shielded cable. Use Aiphone #822202 or #821802 for homerun wiring, #822206 for up to 5 stations on each run, or #822210 for up to 9 stations on each run.
