necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Computers & Solutions - Drives & Storage - Hard Drive Enclosures & Docks.
The SK-3501 Super-S3 External Hard Drive Enclosure from Akitio accepts a single 3.5" SATA hard drive up to 4TB in capacity. No hard drive is included with this enclosure. The enclosure comes equipped with USB 3.0, FireWire 800, and eSATA ports for versatile connectivity options to either Windows or Mac systems. Two FireWire ports allow daisy chaining to multiple Super-S3s, which are designed to stack on top of each other to save space. Passive cooling for the hard drive is accomplished with a large heatsink located on the bottom of the all-aluminum enclosure. A power adapter and eSATA, USB 3.0, and FireWire 800 cables are included with the enclosure.
