User manual for the Ambient Recording QP 4140 Feature Film Boom Pole (17') QP 4140
The user manual for the Ambient Recording QP 4140 Feature Film Boom Pole (17') QP 4140 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Location Sound - Boompoles & Fishpoles.
The QP 4140 Feature Film Boom Pole from Ambient Recording extends up to 17' long and is used for wide camera angles, multi-cam shots, moving actors or cameras, and when the lighting is complicated. Made from four segments of multilayer pullwind carbon tubes with a wall thickness of 1.5mm, this pole is stiff and well balanced allowing the boom operator to swing and point the microphone with great precision as the boom bounce is minimized preventing the microphone from dipping into the frame. At the tip of the boom is a machined, stainless steel 3/8" thread. Secure screw locks enhance the boom's safety features.
