With 690 HTVL-E resolution, WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), and True Day/Night mode, the silver Discover 700 Outdoor Bullet Camera with Varifocal Lens from American Dynamics delivers accurate images and true color reproduction during both day and night and in a variety of lighting conditions. Thanks to its sleek design, this camera can be easily concealed and go relatively unnoticed in a variety of locations. This camera utilizes Pixim Seawolf technology to accurately capture all of the critical details in a scene, including highlights, shadows, and everything in between while maintaining the color accuracy. In addition, the Pixim Seawolf technology eliminates image-compromising visual noise (i.e., glare, reflections) yielding more efficiently compressed images and saving valuable storage space on DVRs and video networks.
This camera requires a minimum illumination of 0.1 lux to produce usable, color images at a full frame rate of up to 30 fps. An integrated IR illuminators allow the camera to operate in situations where no visible light is present (0 lux illumination). With a high-impact, vandal-resistant aluminum housing, the bullet camera can withstand harsh environments and the IP66-rated enclosure prevents damage from dust and other debris as well as water damage. User controls can be easily accessed from the rear of the camera after removing the water-tight cover.
