User manual for the American Dynamics SpeedDome Ultra 8E 22x ADSDU8E22ION
The user manual for the American Dynamics SpeedDome Ultra 8E 22x ADSDU8E22ION provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Wired Analog & HD Cameras.
The American Dynamics SpeedDome Ultra 8E Programmable Dome Camera (22x Optical Zoom, White) is designed for indoor surveillance installations and provides high-quality color videos in light conditions down to 0.02 lux. It features 22x optical zoom with 11x digital magnifier, offering a total zoom of 242x. Built to ensure flexibility when viewing video feeds, the dome camera supports up to 96 preset positions with user-defined titles and 16 preset sequences with a dwell time of up to 10 minutes.
Thanks to the Digital Slow Shutter (DSS), the CCD imager gathers more light and thus compensates for low lighting conditions. Additional image adjustments such as automatic gain control (AGC) and white balance can be made to obtain enhanced video clarity. Electronic Image Stabilization technology ensures that you will always get stable images in spite of vibrations, knocking or any other type of jerky movements. Essential on-screen text including dome, preset, pattern, alarm and area names and direction indicators help you determine the direction the dome is currently pointing at and the direction in which it is moving.
The Ultra 8E Dome Camera has 8 privacy zones to maintain confidentiality. The camera also supports SensorNet, RS-422, AD-UTC, Manchester, and other manufacturer protocols. Furthermore, NTCIP (National Transportation Communications for ITS Protocol) is supported, making it suitable for the transportation market.
Easy to install, the mounting base of the SpeedDome Ultra 8E Programmable Dome comes with a twist lock release that simplifies the servicing process. Additionally power, communication, and video cables (or composite cable) can be connected at one time to an I/O PC board in the mounting base, so the assembly is simply twist-locked onto the base.
