The American Dynamics RHODULP-02 SpeedDome Ultra Pressurized Outdoor Housing is an all weather protected housing for the SpeedDome Ultra camera. It comes with a pressure tolerance capacity of 5 psi (pound per square inch). Dry Nitrogen is used to keep the housing pressurized, which protects the dome camera from dust particles, insect intrusion, and corroding elements. The top of the housing is well-built and can even block ultra violet rays.
Besides IP67, the outdoor housing, with its own built-in temperature control capacity, also carries NEMA 4x rating. While the IP67 rating certifies the housing to be well protected from rain, snow, dust, water, and sleet, the NEMA 4X rating assures the housing to be dust-free and immersion-protected up to 1 meter.
The Schrader valve of the housing maintains the pressure of the housing before fixing the upper dome in its position. Additionally, the outdoor housing uses pressure relief valve which comes handy while releasing pressure from the interior. With the heater and blower, the camera is maintained at optimal temperature and free from fogging. In case the air pressure inside the housing is less than 0.5 psi, the low-pressure sensor of the unit signals a low-pressure alarm.
This housing unit has the option to be easily fixed up to a variety of locations using different types of available mounts. The clear bubble component of the SpeedDome Ultra Pressurized Outdoor Housing is securely fixed with the help of nine screws.
