The G8SW is built to be an efficient workhorse for any network. It is built with a rugged metal enclosure which allows it perform under most conditions. It is also built with Amped Green, a power saving feature that allows for less power consumption during periods of low activity. This switch supports IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, 802.3u 100BASE-TX, 802.3uab 1000BASE-T, 802.3x Full Duplex Flow Control, and 802.3az standards, as well as 8K MAC addresses, 128KB of buffer memory, 9KB of jumbo frames, filtering/forwarding rates up to 1,488,000 pps, and more.
The ProSeries 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch is housed in a compact casing, allowing it to be used on desktops or within cabinets. This switch operates using an included 5V / 1A external power supply and also includes 4 x rubber feet.
