Add an additional 8 wired Gigabit Ethernet ports to virtually any network device and connect peripherals to your network at speeds up to 1000 Mbps using the ProSeries 8-Port Gigabit Switch with 4-Port PoE. Of the 8 ports, 4 of them also function as Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports. PoE enables users to transfer power and data at Gigabit speeds to devices such as IP cameras, telephones, access points, and other PoE capable devices with a single cable.
The GP48SW is built to be an efficient workhorse for any network. It is built with a rugged metal enclosure which allows it perform under most conditions. It is also built with Amped Green, a power saving feature that allows for less power consumption during periods of low activity. This switch supports IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, 802.3u 100BASE-TX, 802.3uab 1000BASE-T, IEEE 802.3af/802.3at PoE, 802.3x Full Duplex Flow Control, and 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet standards, as well as 8K MAC addresses, 128KB of buffer memory, 9KB of jumbo frames, filtering/forwarding rates up to 1,488,000 pps, and more.
The ProSeries 8-Port Gigabit Switch with 4-Port PoE is housed in a compact casing, allowing it to be used on desktops or within a rackmount. This switch operates using a 100-240 VAC internal power supply that outputs 53V and 1.3A. It includes 4 x rubber feet, 2 x rackmount kits with brackets and screws, and a power cord.
