This B&H Kit includes the Amped Wireless TAP-R2 Touch Screen AC750 Wi-Fi Router and the Amped Wireless REC15A High Power Compact Wi-Fi Range Extender. The included touchscreen router features a 3.5" display used to configure your network and even encrypt your wireless connections using WPA/WPA2 encryption standards. With dual band connectivity you can connect to either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequencies and with support for the 802.11ac networking standard the TAP-R2 offers wireless data transfer rates of up to 750 Mbps. Additionally, the two Gigabit Ethernet ports on the back of the device provide a fast, reliable, wired Internet connection.
When out of range of the TAP-R2, the included Amped Wireless Range Extender adds an additional 5,000 square feet of network coverage. As with the included router, the range extender supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi network standard and operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. You can also take advantage of a single Fast Ethernet port located on the bottom of the extender to connect Ethernet enabled devices such as smart TVs, computers, game consoles, and more to your network.
