User manual for the AMT M40 Piano Microphone System M40
The user manual for the AMT M40 Piano Microphone System M40 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Recording - Small Diaphragm Condenser.
The M40 Piano Microphone System from AMT is designed for capturing piano and can also be used for boundary style layer capturing in conferences and stage performances. The condenser microphone features a cardioid polar pattern and rests on an attached surface, enabling the entire microphone to be flatly placed on top of a piano's sound board for detailed, transparent signal reproduction. There is a cardioid polar pattern for minimizing off-axis noise and ambient audio signal as well as sound pressure levels of up to 141 dB. The microphone's output stage features a standard 3-pin XLR male output connection and an attached 5' cable wired to an external power supply/output stage. The M40 is powered using 11 to 52V of phantom power or a 9V battery, and a durable, non-corrosive aluminum enclosure effectively protects the microphone from sudden shock.
