The black 320GB SSD2go Pro SSD from Angelbird is a portable SSD with USB 3.0 and eSATA ports that enables you to back up your data. This portable drive features an aluminum casing that is colored black. After you connect the drive to your computer with the eSATA cable, you can expect read speeds up to 540MB/s and writes up to 460MB/s.
The SSD2go Pro uses the NovaChips NVS3600A Enterprise Controller which offers you the following features: AES 128/256, SMART and TRIM support. AES 128/256 is a type of encryption designed to prevent other people viewing your sensitive data such as accounts, passwords, work documents and more. SMART constantly monitors bad sectors so you can back your data before the drive fails. TRIM helps reduce write times to the drive allowing you to save information faster and prolong the life of the drive by using the flash memory blocks less.
Angelbird has encased the SSD2go Pro in anodized aluminum to help make it durable. Also included are eSATA and USB 3.0 cables that you can connect to your Mac or PC.
