Using the optional AD-LP-01 adapter from AOI, you can mount the port onto Olympus OM-D series housings. The dome-shaped front element corrects for the size distortion that occurs underwater, which causes everything to look larger and closer. Designed especially for wide-angle lenses but also suitable for several macro models, it enables you to reduce the amount of water between you and your subjects for clearer, more accurate images, while fitting more in the frame.
The front element is crafted from acrylic. The tulip-shaped dome shade blocks stray light to prevent lens flare, while also offering some added protection against impact and allowing the port to maintain a light weight. Built for durability, the port body is made from aluminum that has been hard anodized for resistance to corrosion.
