The user manual for the AOI RGBlue System 01 / 02 Red Filter AOI-RF01-49M provides

The AOI RGBlue System 01 / 02 Red Filter is a screw-on filter that is compatible with the AOI RGBlue System 01 or AOI RGBlue System 02 Underwater Video Lights. This filter is designed to limit the output of those lights to red wavelengths. When used underwater, red light allows you to identify and approach underwater animals that would otherwise avoid illumination from a white light source.
Still underwater photographers may use this filter with a compatible light to focus on and frame their subject. They may then turn off the light on which this filter is installed and use an unfiltered strobe to illuminate their image. Underwater videographers may similarly use this filter along with compatible lights to establish their framing. They may then remove this filter from the light on which it is installed and record until their subject has retreated from the white light being emitted from the AOI RGBlue System 01 and AOI RGBlue System 02 Underwater Video Lights.
This filter is constructed from glass, has 49mm rear threads, and is stackable with other 49mm threaded filters for the AOI RGBlue System 01 or AOI RGBlue System 02 Underwater Video Lights.
