The AquaTech Elite 5D III Underwater Sport Housing with Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR Camera Kit from B&H bundles the Elite 5D III waterproof case with Canon's 5D Mark III digital SLR camera body, allowing you to capture photos and video beneath the surface to a maximum depth of 33'. The housing features mechanical controls that provide access to important camera functions, including AF-On, start/stop video recording, video/stills switch, Q menu, right multi-controller, set button, zoom in, playback, autofocus point button, rear control dial and shutter.
The body of the Elite 5D III is constructed from durable polyurethane, and the controls are made of stainless steel, anodized aluminum and high-strength plastic. The housing also features an ergonomic side grip for improved handling and stability underwater. It accepts interchangeable lens ports for a broad array of Canon wide-angle, standard and telephoto lenses, including primes and zooms (port required and sold separately). The Elite is compatible with external flashes and supports eTTL exposure control with the Canon 580 EX II in Strike 580 Flash Housing and Canon 600EX RT in Strike 600 Flash Housing.
The Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR camera features a full-frame 22.3MP CMOS image sensor, DIGIC 5+ processor, and 14-bit A/D conversion, enabling sharp, high-resolution still photos; Full HD 1080/30p and 720/60p video capture; outstanding low-light sensitivity to ISO 102400; and 61-point high density reticular autofocus, including up to 41 cross-type AF points and 5 dual diagonal AF points to ensure sharpness. Canon EF lenses are compatible and available separately. The camera also offers a 3.2", 1040k-dot, Clear View II LCD monitor with a viewing angle up to 170°. Benefit from built-in HDR and multiple exposure modes, as well as continuous shooting at up to 6.0 fps. Additionally, the 5D Mark III is configured with dual CF and SD memory card slots.
