Designed with gamers in mind, the AverMedia ExtremeCap U3 is a USB 3.0 capture box that allows you to capture, record, and stream 1080/60p video via HDMI and component inputs from your PC and game consoles. It is capable of transmitting uncompressed HD data to popular video software with its DirectShow compatibility. The ExtemeCap U3 comes bundled with AverMedia's RECentral software for recording/streaming video with customizable settings, as well as a USB 3.0 Diagnosis Tool to ensure hardware compatibility. Also available with purchase are plug-ins for capturing and editing video within Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. A USB 3.0 cable and a component video / stereo audio dongle cable come included.
Note: The Extreme Cap U3 does not come with installation disc. Driver, Software, and plug-ins must be downloaded from AverMedia's website.
