User manual for the Axis Communications M5014 PTZ Dome Network Camera 0399-001

The user manual for the Axis Communications M5014 PTZ Dome Network Camera 0399-001 provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Wired IP Cameras.

The Axis M5014 PTZ Dome Network Camera (Indoor) is designed for remote and discreet monitoring of indoor areas such as stores, banks, hotels, office lobbies, restaurants, and warehouses. This ceiling mount camera is equipped with a 3.6mm lens @ f/1.8 and a 1/4” progressive scan RGB CMOS imager.

Offering resolutions up to HDTV 720p (1280 x 720), the camera supports multiple individually configurable streams in H.264 and MJPEG. H.264 reduces the dependency on bandwidth and storage use without compromising image quality. A built-in microphone enables users to listen in remotely and audio to be recorded while the audio detection allows unusual sounds or noise to be detected during off-hours to trigger alarm events.

PoE (Power over Ethernet) supplies power to the camera from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. With IP51-rated plastic casing, the camera is dustproof and protected from dripping water, making it functional even during the operation of a sprinkler system.
