User manual for the Axis Communications T96A05-V Vandal-Resistant Dome 5032-051

The user manual for the Axis Communications T96A05-V Vandal-Resistant Dome 5032-051 provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Mounts & Housings - Housings.

The white T96A05-V Vandal-Resistant Dome Housing for AXIS M50 Series from Axis Communications is designed to protect the Axis M50 (M5013 & M5014) network camera series, which require the mini PTZ cameras to be protected. It has a IK10 rating for protection against impact and vandal acts, as well as IP66 protection rating against the ingress of dust and high pressure water jets from any direction. The T96A05-V Dome Housing finds its best applications in those installations where AXIS M50 cameras are already installed on a hard ceiling, but need to be converted into vandal-resistant cameras. The Axis M50 series cameras feature a bracket, which facilitates the installation of the camera inside this dome housing.

The housing allows the network cable to be routed in 3 different ways: routing the cable through a conduit, along the ceiling; wrapping the cable around a designated cable track; and routing the cable through the ceiling. The network cable is further protected in the ceiling mount for tamper protection. The network cable coupler indoor slim can also be used to extend the network cable while maintaining the IP66 rating of the vandal-resistant housing. The coupler fits inside the housing and the extended cable is routed through the conduit.

While the T96A05-V Dome Housing does not provide any electronic components, it offers a protection rating to defend the cameras in those indoor and semi-outdoor environments where temperature management is not a demand, such as in subways or schools. Quick and easy-to-install, this dome housing is designed for hard ceiling mount and also comes with PoE (Power over Ethernet) connection.
