The user manual for the Blonder Tongue HDE-CSV-QAM HDE-CSV-QAM provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Signal Processing & Distribution - RF Equipment.

This MPEG-2 HD to QAM Encoder by Blonder Tongue accepts any of the following inputs: component, HD-SDI, HDMI (unencrypted), VGA, and composite. MPEG-2 encoded outputs are available in the following formats simultaneously: QAM RF, ASI, and IP (10/100Base-T Ethernet). The encoder features an analog/digital audio input which supports Dolby Digital audio encoding, and Closed Captioning (EIA-608).

The QAM RF output is frequency-agile over the entire CATV frequency range of 54-1002MHz (channels 2 to 158) with an output level of +40dBmV. Comprehensive remote monitoring and control is accomplished using any standard Web browser via a front-panel 10/100Base-T Ethernet connection. A rear-panel VGA output port is available for loop-through applications.
