User manual for the Bolt VD-410 Manual Flash VD-410
The user manual for the Bolt VD-410 Manual Flash VD-410 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Flashes & On Camera Lighting - On Camera Flashes.
Bolster your everyday shooting kit with the addition of a VD-410 Manual Flash from Bolt, which provides photographers with the almost essential ability to add light to otherwise drab or dark scenes. The VD-410 will find a home in many camera bags due to its simple manual operation, moderate guide number of 124.7' at ISO 100, and versatility provided by on- and off-camera triggering options, including wireless. Manual output is controlled from 1/1 to 1/128 power and placement of the light is controlled by tilting the head from 0-90° and swiveling up to 90° right or 180° left. Along with this, the flash has standard coverage for 35mm and longer lenses, and it is equipped with a built-in diffuser that widens coverage down to an 18mm lens. For general operation, the VD-410 can be used with nearly any camera equipped with a hot shoe. Options for triggering off-camera are easily expanded thanks to the integration of a PC sync port as well as two optical slave modes, instant sync and skip one preflash. This flash can be set up as a slave unit or as a master trigger with a range of up to 33'. Additionally, it has an HV external power socket for using battery packs as well as the ability to run off four AA batteries which provide a recycle time of 0.1-5 seconds.
