The Bosch LTC8540/00 is an alarm interface unit designed to activate an Allegiant system's video display automatically and sound a buzzer, in the event of an alarm. The unit accepts up to 64 contact-closures or logic-level inputs from remote sensing devices such as door contacts and PIRs. It also provides eight alarm relay outputs to activate the alarm input of a VCR or any other alerting device. Alarm inputs may be configured in groups of 32 to accept typically open or closed contacts.
Included with the unit is a cable carrying both data and power, with an optional power supply available for remote installation applications. The rubber feet on the bottom of the unit can be removed for installation in a standard 19" rack (2 RU high) using optional mounting hardware.
