The Bosch LTC8712/60 is a console port expander designed to allow the connection of four additional external computing devices to communicate with an Allegiant system via an RS-232 protocol. Compatible computing devices include any PC running Bosch's Master Control Software or Graphical User Interface (GUI) as well as any device utilizing an Allegiant system's Command Console Language (CCL). When used with a PC running GUI software, this unit can also be connected to an Allegiant system's printer port, provided the port is configured to operate in the console mode. Two of these units can be mounted side-by-side in a 19" rack using an optional LTC9101 rack-mount kit.
