The open 6" concentric search coil makes pinpointing objects easy as the center always has the highest returns.
An analog knob provides for easy adjustment of sensitivity settings. You can choose between a mode that provides returns on all metals or manually adjust the discrimination level to better filter results. Returns are shown on a needle-indicated graph and are also indicated by a tone. The volume of the tone indicates the signal strength, as the signal gets stronger the tone gets louder. The unit is powered by two 9V batteries, which are not included.
