User manual for the Canon Speedlite 430EX II Deluxe Kit
The user manual for the Canon Speedlite 430EX II Deluxe Kit provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Flashes & On Camera Lighting - On Camera Flashes.
The Canon Speedlite 430EX II Deluxe Kit from B&H contains the versatile and efficient shoe mount flash along with four AA rechargeable NiMH batteries, a rapid battery charger, a Light Bouncer, and a cinch strap for attaching the light modifier to the flash. The batteries and charger help to ensure readily available power for the flash and the Light Bouncer helps to produce a broad, soft light spread with gold and silver reflectors also included to alter the color and quality of the flash output. Additionally, a 3' coiled TTL cable is included to allow for off-camera positioning of the flash while still maintaining full TTL capabilities.
The Speedlite 430EX II features a powerful maximum guide number of 141.1' at ISO 100 along with a controllable zoom head design that covers lens focal lengths between 24-105mm. The flash head is capable of vertically tilting between 0-90° and swiveling 0-180° left or 0-90° right to aid in greater control over the direction of flash output. It is compatible with the E-TTL II system for accurate flash metering and, when used with compatible EOS DSLRs, full flash control is possible directly from the camera's menu system. A metal foot and quick-lock mechanism provide greater rigidity and efficiency when attaching to a camera and a minimum recycle time of 2 seconds with NiMH batteries allows for a quickened shooting style.
