This Cartoni Focus 12 System is a compact 100mm single-stage tripod solution for cameras ranging from lightweight to ENG. It features the 100mm ball base Focus 12 Fluid Head and a Dual-Stage Aluminum Tripod, both designed and manufactured in Italy. The Focus 12 Fluid Head supports loads from 0 to 26 lb and provides continuous counterbalance and drag on both pan and tilt movements. Its ability to handle loads under 4 lb enables the use of a wide variety of cameras.
The Focus 12 Fluid Head comes with a quick-release Euro-style camera plate, plus a pan bar which can be attached to a rosette adapter on either side of the head. This complete Focus 12 System also includes a quick-release mid-level spreader, hooking rubber tripod foot, and a soft case. The head and tripod together weigh only 11.2 lb and can comfortably be carried in the soft case. The case is padded and offers both a shoulder strap and leather handles.
The tripod features a maximum height of 54" and minimum height of 29". It has independent, non-slip flip locks with safety locks providing for quick and secure height adjustment. The tripod has spiked feet for use on soft ground, and the included hooking rubber foot provides stability on smooth surfaces.
The Focus 12 Fluid Head also has a switchable, illuminated bubble level.

I have a 3-page FDJ-D22 manual which does not list or describe what the "Bright/Dark" function does. Since nothing happens when I switch this function.
