The P90 Maxima Kit from Cartoni consists of the P90 2-Stage Pedestal, Maxima Head, and 2 pan bars. Extremely versatile, the P90 2-Stage Pedestal is designed to support camera/lens combinations up to 198 lb (90kg), covering the entire range of Studio and Outside Broadcast configurations.
The pedestal system is compact and portable. The 2-stage column performs an on-shot stroke of 29” (74cm) with a smooth and precise movement. The sturdy and yet lightweight dolly is equipped with high-precision double wheels interlocked by a specially designed chain, allowing accurate traveling and steering, even on-shot.
The crab position is also configurable for narrow doorways. All operating devices and control display are easily accessible by the cameraman. The pneumatic column works on compressed air, which can be loaded with a compressor or a simple hand pump. The piston's innovative design eliminates complicated balance settings. The system interfaces with all flat base, 4-bore holes heads or any other bowl based head with an adapter.
