The brown Celviano AP-250BN from Casio is a console-style, digital grand piano for the player/performer who desires an authentic grand piano experience. A tri-sensor, spring-less, 88-key scaled hammer action keyboard allows for every nuance and detail of a performance to come through. The 128-note polyphony ensures that the most demanding musical passages can be performed without dropped notes.
An updated four-layer stereo grand piano sound is at the heart of the instrument and features enhancements such as simulating the sound of open strings when the dampers are raised with the sustain pedal. Additionally, the company's AiR technology takes into consideration the speed at which the hammers strike the virtual strings at different velocities and key ranges, mimicking the authentic sounds and feel of a traditional grand piano.
The keyboard can be split or layered with two tones and a Dual Mode allows for a teacher and student to practice together. Dual headphone outputs facilitate this arrangement. Eighteen tones and sixty practice songs, along with a 2-track, single song recorder provide a variety of functions.
