The white CMS492C Plenum Rated Storage Box with Column Drop, 2 x 2' from Chief is a ceiling enclosure which conceals a variety of AV equipment above a 2 x 2' ceiling tile. It supports a 1.5" NPT column drop for mounting projectors within the same tile grid providing a clean professional look for classrooms and conference rooms. Its detachable power housing can be pre-installed with electricians on site and assembled to the storage box at a later time.
The enclosure ships with 1 shelf and a second can be purchased separately. The unit has built-in ventilation and has an overall weight capacity of 100 lb.
